After discovering a fantastic bass fishing hole in the last hog searching video Liz and I chose to fill up the boat and invest a day on the river hunting for wild hogs and bass fishing with the young boys. Right off the bat we entered some old hog indication on public land. The sandy ridges along the river were wrecked however all the rooting was at least a couple of days old.
While we were out, Liz made the effort to do some mushroom searching and foraging. Wild food comprises a huge part of our diet plans so we’re constantly on the lookout for wild edibles. And we like taking the young boys out to find out about the woods.
Later on in the day we directed river to the bass fishing hole and captured a lot of little largemouth bass for supper. After an unscripted fish anatomy lesson we fileted the fish and had a fish fry. All the components for a catch, tidy, cook video! Great times.
