This year’s standard bow hunt for late season deer was difficult. However after getting a little snow in the high nation I chose to head pull back for the last day of the season searching public land for whitetail deer!
On the drive down I still wasn’t seeing lots of deer which is rather uncommon. Once I entered into the woods I understood the deer existed, they were simply bedded in the thick brush due to the warm temperature levels. I was busting deer left and ideal walking so, towards the later part of the day I chose to sit at a great area and see if a deer would stroll within variety when they began relocating the night.
With less than 15 minutes left on the last day of the 2019 deer open season a young doe got out of the brush at simply 10 backyards! I was currently drawn when she marched. She just tackled 40 backyards prior to decreasing.
Many people who view my videos understand that I make all my own archery devices including my primitive weapons. On this hunt I was shooting my little sinew backed osage recurve bow, shurewood dug fir shafts and 190 grain tuffhead broadheads.
